Dale MillerVice President and Chief Operating OfficerDale is an engineer with over 27 years of domestic oil and gas experience. Mr. Miller attended the University of Tulsa and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (honors) in Petroleum Engineering in 1982. Dale started his Petroleum Engineering career in 1983 with Alberta Energy Company Ltd working out of the Redcliff field office. In his 2 ½ years there, he was part of the Production Engineering group. In 1985, Dale decided to broaden his industry experience and left AEC to join Canadian Superior Oil Ltd, which by the following year, became fully integrated with Mobil Oil Canada Ltd. In his five years with the two Companies, Dale worked out of the Calgary head office and the Drayton Valley/Olds field offices. His assigned workload took him through Production, Process, and Operations Engineering departments. He was fortunate to be exposed to a variety of oil and gas field operations throughout Alberta. With Mobil Oil, Dale attained the level of Senior Operations Engineer. Looking for new challenges and opportunities, Dale joined Opinac Exploration Ltd in 1990 in the capacity of Senior Production Engineer. The Company was active for its’ size and Dale gained invaluable production operations experience. With the pending sale of Opinac Exploration Ltd (Q2/1993), Dale hired on with Penn West Petroleum Ltd as a Senior Operations Engineer. In his ten years with Penn West, Dale took on many different roles and responsibilities in helping grow the Company from 1,500 boe/d to 100,000 boe/d. He became a Vice President & Officer of Penn West in 1998 and played a very active role in the success story of the Company. Dale’s workload reached from SE Sask to NE BC encompassing a variety of producing properties and operations. From 1999 to 2003, Dale held the position of Vice President Operations & Engineering, managing Penn West’s Drilling and Completion activities, and the Exploitation/Reservoir Engineering and Acquisitions & Divestitures groups. Needing a change of pace, Dale moved to private startup company Gibraltar Exploration Ltd in September, 2003 taking on the role Vice President Operations and Engineering. Being that Gibraltar was a small Junior, Dale was involved in all facets of the Company – Engineering, Operations, and the Business side. Dale grew with the Company to a grass roots production level of 3500 boe/d (60% Oil). Gibraltar sold to Crescent Point Energy Corp. effective July 3, 2009. In November 2009 Dale joined Midnight Oil & Gas Ltd. (MOX) as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. On June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Mr. Miller is currently the Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Dale is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). |

George SwerdanVice President, Production & OperationsMr. Swerdan graduated in 1984 from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology with a Bsc. Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Swerdan has over 25 years in the oil and gas industry as a Professional Engineer. George started with Hudson’s Bay Oil and Gas and then continued to Dome Petroleum Ltd. In 1986, he then moved to Norcen and worked in various capacities as an Engineer and eventually worked in Russia in 1992 with Calgary Overseas Services Ltd., George continued his career working for other notable companies such as Penn West Petroleum Ltd., MGV Energy, Gibraltar Exploration Ltd. and Harvest Operations Corp. George joined Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd. (MOX) in November 2009 as Manager, Operations and on June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Mr. Swerdan is currently the Vice President, Production and Operations. George is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). |

Judy StriplingExecutive Vice-President and Chief Financial OfficerJudy is a chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience. Ms. Stripling attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1978 and a Bachelor of Commerce in 1980 and successfully completed her Chartered Accountant exams in 1982. She joined Ulster Petroleums Ltd. in 1987 as Controller, after leaving KPMG as a senior manager. She was appointed Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer in 1993 and was a member of the Executive Team assisting with the growth of the company from 1,500 boe/d to 35,000 boe/d. Ulster sold to Anderson Exploration Ltd. in 2000. In July 2000, Ms. Stripling became a cofounder of Midnight Oil & Gas Ltd. This was a private blind pool company with an initial capital raise of $14 million. In December 2002, through a reverse takeover of Foothills Oil & Gas Ltd., Midnight Oil & Gas Ltd became public. Ms. Stripling participated in the growth of this company from 0 to 3,500 boe/d and than assisted with the reverse takeover of Vintage Petroleum Canada in November 2004 to create Daylight Energy Trust and the exploreco Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd. (MOX). In conjunction with the Plan of Arrangement, Daylight Energy and MOX entered into an Administrative and Technical Services Agreement which provided for the shared services required to manage the activities of Daylight and MOX, whereby Daylight became the employer on behalf of both parties. On December 31, 2006 this agreement was terminated and Ms. Stripling moved solely to the position of Executive Vice President and CFO of MOX. On June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Ms. Stripling is currently the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Stripling is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) She also currently holds a board position on PetroNova Inc., a public junior international exploration company. |

E. Martin SaizewVice-President, EngineeringMr. Saizew holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with Honours, in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of reservoir and production engineering experience. Mr. Saizew joined Ulster Petroleums in 1998 as a Senior Exploitation Engineer, Deep Basin. Following the acquisition of Ulster, Mr. Saizew held Senior Engineer positions at Anderson Oil and Gas, Encal Energy and Pengrowth Energy Trust. In May 2003, Mr. Saizew joined Midnight Oil & Gas Ltd. (MOX) as Exploitation Manager, PRA & Foothills. Mr. Saizew was appointed Vice-President, Engineering of Midnight in June 2006. On June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Mr. Saizew is currently the Vice-President, Engineering. Martin is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). |

Peter R. O’LearyVice-President, GeologyMr. O’Leary graduated in 1990 from Laval University as a Geological Engineer. Peter has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a Professional Geologist. Peter worked with Petro-Canada as a Petroleum Geologist and participated in exploration activities in various Carbonate and Clastic Basins of Alberta and British Colombia. Mr. O’Leary joined the Ulster Petroleum team in 1995 and was involved in extending activity in the Peace River Arch and the Deep Basin area. Ulster Petroleum was then acquired by Anderson Energy in 2000 where Mr. O’Leary expanded the exploration activities of Anderson in the Bilbo and Wapiti areas. In September 2001, Devon Canada Corporation acquired Anderson Energy and Mr. O’Leary was promoted to Manager Exploration Peace River Arch where he managed 5 multidisciplinary areas. In February 2003, Mr. O’Leary joined Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd. (MOX) or its predecessors as Exploration Manager, PRA/Deep Basin. Mr. O’Leary was appointed Vice-President, Geology at Midnight in June 2006. On June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Mr. O-Leary is currently the Vice-President, Geology. Tom MoslowSenior Vice-President, Geosciences & New VenturesTom is a petroleum geologist with a PhD. in Geology from the University of South Carolina and a M.S. in Geology from Duke University. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Calgary and a former Professor (1985–1994) in the Department of Earth and Atmosphere Sciences at the University of Alberta. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Moslow’s fields of specialization are in clastic sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy and tight gas reservoirs. Dr. Moslow has won various awards and honours and has published extensively for the Canadian and American Societies of Petroleum Geologists on topics pertaining to the Triassic and Lower Cretaceous of the Deep Basin and tight gas/resource play geology. Dr. Moslow joined Ulster as Chief Geologist in 1997 and was appointed Vice President, New Ventures and Technology in 2000 and with his application of detailed interpretation of rock properties was responsible for doubling Deep Basin production. Dr. Moslow was co-founder of Midnight Oil & Gas Ltd. (MOX) and continued on as the Senior Vice-President Exploration of MOX. On June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Mr. Moslow is currently the Senior Vice-President, Geosciences & New Ventures. |

Volker BraunVice President, ExplorationVolker holds a Bachelor of Science degree (honors) in Geology from University of Saskatchewan. He is a professional geologist/geophysicist with over 29 years of industry experience. He has worked many aspects of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin both structural and stratigraphic. In addition, he has worked the Deepwater Scotian Shelf, and in several basins in the United States. He began his career with 12 years at Shell Canada where he was retrained from a working geologist into a seismic interpreter. Mr. Braun then moved to Gulf Canada, Berkley Petroleum Corp, Anadarko Petroleum, and joined Midnight Exploration Ltd. (MOX) in late 2004. At Berkley Petroleum Corp. and at Midnight Exploration Ltd. He held the position of Chief Geophysicist. On June 29, 2010, Pace Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed through the merger of MOX and Provident Energy Trust’s upstream oil and gas production business in which Mr. Braun is currently the Vice President, Exploration. Volker is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) , and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). |
